Good Hope Family Campers gathers July 18–25, 2026 at Nesbit Lake Organizational Camp. Christian living, not a resort — sharing, growing, giving, and caring.
How we began
From a Milwaukee parish to a northern Michigan lake.
Our camp began with a group of CFM families from Our Lady of Good Hope Parish, Milwaukee, WI. They accepted a challenge to live together for a week as a large community without conflict. Their week was successful and from that week in Northern Michigan, our group evolved.
The week at camp is a vacation but it is more than a week at a resort. It is a week of sharing, growing, giving and caring for each other. It is more than a vacation as it is a week of Christian living and sharing our love for one another. To accomplish this goal, we need the cooperation of everyone.

isn't Nesbit or Galilee or any special geographical location but it's water, trees, warm sun, and frogs, a campfire, squeaky beds, the trolley.
It's not letting things matter too much....things like hurt knees and hurried showers, sun burned noses and a messy cabin.
It's caring a lot about things that count....things like helping kids and doing your share, being open and loving.
And it's the teasing, laughing, eating, talking, praising, sharing, praying, giving, children shouting, flag raising, gong ringing, everyone dancing.
